Sales of cars as a share of worldwide production fell 9.59% to 0.442% in Switzerland in 2020, according to ACEA.
Historically, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Switzerland reached an all time high of 1.08% in 1981 and an all time low of 0.435% in 2018. When compared to Switzerland's main peers, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Austria amounted to 0.481%, 3.08% in France, 5.44% in Germany and 2.58% in Italy in 2020.
