Sales of cars as a share of worldwide production fell 9.29% to 0.046% in Hong Kong in 2019, according to ACEA.

Historically, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Hong Kong reached an all time high of 0.078% in 2011 and an all time low of 0.046% in 2019. When compared to Hong Kong's main peers, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in China amounted to 33.7%, 0.120% in Singapore, 0.250% in Taiwan and 0.360% in Vietnam in 2019.
