Sales of cars as a share of worldwide production fell 45.0% to 0.004% in Cuba in 2019, according to ACEA.

Historically, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Cuba reached an all time high of 0.008% in 2016 and an all time low of 0.003% in 2009. When compared to Cuba's main peers, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Dominican Republic amounted to 0.020%, 0.008% in Jamaica, 1.20% in Mexico and 7.41% in USA in 2019.
