Sales of cars as a share of worldwide production fell 3.27% to 0.017% in Brunei in 2019, according to ACEA.

Historically, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Brunei reached an all time high of 0.033% in 2005 and an all time low of 0.017% in 2017. When compared to Brunei's main peers, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Indonesia amounted to 1.23%, 0.863% in Malaysia, 0.406% in Philippines and 0.360% in Vietnam in 2019.
