Sales of cars as a share of worldwide production fell 11.4% to 3.08% in France in 2020, according to ACEA.
Historically, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in France reached an all time high of 7.62% in 1982 and an all time low of 2.73% in 2014. When compared to France's main peers, sales of cars as a share of worldwide production in Belgium amounted to 0.792%, 5.44% in Germany, 2.58% in Italy and 1.59% in Spain in 2020.
