Historically, road injury accidents in Sweden reached an all time high of 18,548 in 2007 and an all time low of 12,926 in 2014. When compared to Sweden's main peers, road injury accidents in Denmark amounted to 2,882, 4,730 in Finland, 4,374 in Norway and 173,694 in Russia in 2016.
