Retail loans rose 21.2% to USD 11.3 bil in Slovenia in 2017, according to the National Central Bank.
Historically, retail loans in Slovenia reached an all time high of USD 11.7 bil in 2010 and an all time low of USD 0.251 bil in 1993. When compared to Slovenia's main peers, retail loans in Austria amounted to USD 180 bil, USD 18.3 bil in Croatia, USD 20.7 bil in Hungary and USD 1,112 bil in Italy in 2017.
