Historically, retail loans per capita in Slovenia reached an all time high of USD 5,719 in 2010 and an all time low of USD 126 in 1993. When compared to Slovenia's main peers, retail loans per capita in Austria amounted to USD 21,106 , USD 4,378 in Croatia, USD 2,125 in Hungary and USD 18,370 in Italy in 2017.
