Historically, R&D expenditures as a percentage of GDP in Poland reached an all time high of 1.39% in 2020 and an all time low of 0.538% in 2003. When compared to Poland's main peers, R&D expenditures as a percentage of GDP in Czechia amounted to 1.99%, 3.14% in Germany, 1.10% in Russia and 0.406% in Ukraine in 2020.
