Railways goods transported in million of tonnes rose 9.34% to 316 Mt in Estonia in 2016, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, railways goods transported in million of tonnes in Estonia reached an all time high of 316 Mt in 2016 and an all time low of 22.6 Mt in 1994. When compared to Estonia's main peers, railways goods transported in million of tonnes in Finland amounted to 3,868 Mt, 584 Mt in Latvia, 396 Mt in Lithuania and 124,620 Mt in Russia in 2016.
