Historically, railways goods transported in million of tonnes in the Czech Republic reached an all time high of 8,843 Mt in 2016 and an all time low of 90.7 Mt in 1999. When compared to Czech Republic's main peers, railways goods transported in million of tonnes in Austria amounted to 12,578 Mt, 7,653 Mt in Hungary, 19,175 Mt in Poland and 3,595 Mt in Slovakia in 2016.
