Romanian banking sector accepted retail deposits of RON 178 bil in 2017, up 9.10% when compared to the last year.
Raiffeisen Bank Romania accounted for 11.6% of all retail deposits taken by banks in Romania at the end of 2017. Historically, the bank’s market share in retail deposits reached an all time high of 12.0% in 2005 and an all time low of 6.26% in 2002.
That's compared to a 8.61% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2017.
