Public spending on education as a share of government expenditure fell 7.09% to 9.09% in Central African Republic in 2021, according to World Bank.

Historically, public spending on education as a share of government expenditure in Central African Republic reached an all time high of 12.1% in 2004 and an all time low of 6.48% in 2010. When compared to Central African Republic's main peers, public spending on education as a share of government expenditure in Cameroon amounted to 14.9%, 15.1% in Chad, 12.5% in Sudan and 21.6% in Dem. Republic of the Congo in 2021.
