Public spending on education as a share of government expenditure fell 1.42% to 18.8% in Saudi Arabia in 2021, according to World Bank.

Historically, public spending on education as a share of government expenditure in Saudi Arabia reached an all time high of 24.9% in 2016 and an all time low of 12.3% in 1997.

Saudi Arabia has been ranked 17th within the group of 86 countries we follow in terms of public spending on education as a share of government expenditure, 17 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
