Historically, public debt per capita in Nepal reached an all time high of USD 421 in 2020 and an all time low of USD 136 in 2000. When compared to Nepal's main peers, public debt per capita in Bangladesh amounted to USD 689 , USD 4,017 in Bhutan, USD 6,177 in China and USD 1,620 in India in 2020.
