Historically, proved reserves of natural gas in Australia reached an all time high of 110 trillion cb ft in 2011 and an all time low of 15.1 trillion cb ft in 1992. When compared to Australia's main peers, proved reserves of natural gas in Indonesia amounted to 98.0 trillion cb ft, 41.8 trillion cb ft in Malaysia, 1.27 trillion cb ft in New Zealand and 5.00 trillion cb ft in Papua New Guinea in 2017.
