Historically, proved reserves of natural gas in Jordan reached an all time high of 0.989 trillion cb ft in 1988 and an all time low of 0.058 trillion cb ft in 1990. When compared to Jordan's main peers, proved reserves of natural gas in Iraq amounted to 112 trillion cb ft, 7.03 trillion cb ft in Israel, 294 trillion cb ft in Saudi Arabia and 8.50 trillion cb ft in Syria in 2015.
