Proved reserves of natural gas rose 0% to 112 trillion cb ft in Iraq in 2015, according to EIA.

Historically, proved reserves of natural gas in Iraq reached an all time high of 118 trillion cb ft in 1997 and an all time low of 26.3 trillion cb ft in 1988. When compared to Iraq's main peers, proved reserves of natural gas in Iran amounted to 1,201 trillion cb ft, 63.5 trillion cb ft in Kuwait, 294 trillion cb ft in Saudi Arabia and 8.50 trillion cb ft in Syria in 2015.
