Historically, proved reserves of natural gas in the USA reached an all time high of 338 trillion cb ft in 2014 and an all time low of 162 trillion cb ft in 1994. When compared to USA's main peers, proved reserves of natural gas in Canada amounted to 70.5 trillion cb ft, 175 trillion cb ft in China, 0.738 trillion cb ft in Japan and 15.3 trillion cb ft in Mexico in 2016.
