Historically, proved reserves of natural gas in Brazil reached an all time high of 16.6 trillion cb ft in 2016 and an all time low of 1.50 trillion cb ft in 1980. When compared to Brazil's main peers, proved reserves of natural gas in Bolivia amounted to 10.5 trillion cb ft, 14.1 trillion cb ft in Peru and 201 trillion cb ft in Venezuela in 2017.
