Historically, proved reserves of natural gas in Colombia reached an all time high of 14.2 trillion cb ft in 1998 and an all time low of 3.60 trillion cb ft in 1988. When compared to Colombia's main peers, proved reserves of natural gas in Brazil amounted to 16.2 trillion cb ft, 15.0 trillion cb ft in Peru and 197 trillion cb ft in Venezuela in 2015.
