Historically, proved reserves of natural gas in Hungary reached an all time high of 4.70 trillion cb ft in 1985 and an all time low of 0.272 trillion cb ft in 2017. When compared to Hungary's main peers, proved reserves of natural gas in Austria amounted to 0.247 trillion cb ft, 0.140 trillion cb ft in Czech Republic, 2.88 trillion cb ft in Poland and 0.500 trillion cb ft in Slovakia in 2017.
