Proved reserves of natural gas fell 0.945% to 858 trillion cb ft in Qatar in 2017, according to EIA.

Historically, proved reserves of natural gas in Qatar reached an all time high of 911 trillion cb ft in 2006 and an all time low of 60.0 trillion cb ft in 1980. When compared to Qatar's main peers, proved reserves of natural gas in Bahrain amounted to 3.25 trillion cb ft, 1,183 trillion cb ft in Iran, 304 trillion cb ft in Saudi Arabia and 215 trillion cb ft in United Arab Emirates in 2017.
