Historically, proved reserves of natural gas in Papua New Guinea reached an all time high of 15.0 trillion cb ft in 1995 and an all time low of 0.500 trillion cb ft in 1985. When compared to Papua New Guinea's main peers, proved reserves of natural gas in Australia amounted to 30.4 trillion cb ft, 103 trillion cb ft in Indonesia, 1.36 trillion cb ft in New Zealand and 3.48 trillion cb ft in Philippines in 2015.
