When compared to Qatar's main peers, proved reserves of crude oil in Bahrain amounted to 0.125 bil barrels, 158 bil barrels in Iran, 266 bil barrels in Saudi Arabia and 97.8 bil barrels in United Arab Emirates in 2017.
