Proved reserves of crude oil fell 12.2% to 0.025 bil barrels in Hungary in 2017, according to EIA.

Historically, proved reserves of crude oil in Hungary reached an all time high of 0.159 bil barrels in 1992 and an all time low of 0.020 bil barrels in 2008. When compared to Hungary's main peers, proved reserves of crude oil in Austria amounted to 0.043 bil barrels, 0.015 bil barrels in Czech Republic, 0.138 bil barrels in Poland and 0.009 bil barrels in Slovakia in 2017.
