Production of passenger cars fell 11.1% to 985 thousand in Slovakia in 2020, according to ACEA.

Historically, production of passenger cars in Slovakia reached an all time high of 1,108 thousand in 2019 and an all time low of 2.00 thousand in 1992. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, production of passenger cars in Austria amounted to 105 thousand, 1,153 thousand in Czech Republic, 406 thousand in Hungary and 279 thousand in Poland in 2020.

Slovakia has been ranked 11th within the group of 50 countries we follow in terms of production of passenger cars, 8 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
