Production of motor vehicles fell 19.6% to 2,268 thousand in Spain in 2020, according to ACEA.
Historically, production of motor vehicles in Spain reached an all time high of 3,033 thousand in 2000 and an all time low of 1,979 thousand in 2012. When compared to Spain's main peers, production of motor vehicles in France amounted to 1,316 thousand, 777 thousand in Italy, 248 thousand in Morocco and 264 thousand in Portugal in 2020.
