Production of motor vehicles fell 11.1% to 985 thousand in Slovakia in 2020, according to ACEA.
Historically, production of motor vehicles in Slovakia reached an all time high of 1,108 thousand in 2019 and an all time low of 127 thousand in 1999. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, production of motor vehicles in Austria amounted to 105 thousand, 1,159 thousand in Czech Republic, 406 thousand in Hungary and 451 thousand in Poland in 2020.
Slovakia has been ranked 17th within the group of 49 countries we follow in terms of production of motor vehicles, 6 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
