Historically, production of dates in Jordan reached an all time high of 26,953 tonnes in 2021 and an all time low of 4.00 tonnes in 1978. When compared to Jordan's main peers, production of dates in Iraq amounted to 750,225 tonnes, 55,368 tonnes in Israel, 1,565,830 tonnes in Saudi Arabia and 2,857 tonnes in Syria in 2021.
