Production of dates fell 3.50% to 108,113 tonnes in Kuwait in 2021, according to Faostat.

Historically, production of dates in Kuwait reached an all time high of 115,213 tonnes in 2014 and an all time low of 300 tonnes in 1970. When compared to Kuwait's main peers, production of dates in Bahrain amounted to 14,100 tonnes, 750,225 tonnes in Iraq, 1,303,717 tonnes in Iran and 1,565,830 tonnes in Saudi Arabia in 2021.
