Historically, production of case materials in China reached an all time high of 47,200,000 kt in 2017 and an all time low of 2,195 kt in 1999. When compared to China's main peers, production of case materials in India amounted to 6,985,000 kt, 9,766,000 kt in Japan, 4,387,000 kt in Russia and 34,692,235 kt in USA in 2018.
