Production of cars per 1,000 people fell 35.9% to 0.345 vehicles in Philippines in 2020, according to ACEA.

Historically, production of cars per 1,000 people in Philippines reached an all time high of 0.558 vehicles in 2014 and an all time low of 0.345 vehicles in 2020. When compared to Philippines's main peers, production of cars per 1,000 people in China amounted to 14.3 vehicles, 2.10 vehicles in Indonesia, 7.68 vehicles in Taiwan and 1.33 vehicles in Vietnam in 2020.
