Production of cars per 1,000 people fell 31.2% to 7.52 vehicles in Mexico in 2020, according to ACEA.
Historically, production of cars per 1,000 people in Mexico reached an all time high of 15.9 vehicles in 2016 and an all time low of 7.16 vehicles in 2003.
Mexico has been ranked 28th within the group of 50 countries we follow in terms of production of cars per 1,000 people, 8 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
