Production of cars per 1,000 people fell 10.8% to 185 vehicles in Slovakia in 2020, according to ACEA.
Historically, production of cars per 1,000 people in Slovakia reached an all time high of 207 vehicles in 2019 and an all time low of 0.376 vehicles in 1992. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, production of cars per 1,000 people in Austria amounted to 12.2 vehicles, 108 vehicles in Czech Republic, 42.4 vehicles in Hungary and 7.49 vehicles in Poland in 2020.
