Production of cars as a share of worldwide production fell 9.33% to 6.30% in Germany in 2020, according to ACEA.

Historically, production of cars as a share of worldwide production in Germany reached an all time high of 14.1% in 1998 and an all time low of 6.30% in 2020. When compared to Germany's main peers, production of cars as a share of worldwide production in Austria amounted to 0.187%, 0.425% in Belgium, 1.66% in France and 0.500% in Poland in 2020.
