Production of cars as a share of worldwide production fell 1.84% to 0.728% in Hungary in 2020, according to ACEA.
Historically, production of cars as a share of worldwide production in Hungary reached an all time high of 0.742% in 2019 and an all time low of 0.198% in 1997. When compared to Hungary's main peers, production of cars as a share of worldwide production in Austria amounted to 0.187%, 2.06% in Czech Republic, 0.500% in Poland and 1.76% in Slovakia in 2020.
Hungary has been ranked 22nd within the group of 50 countries we follow in terms of production of cars as a share of worldwide production, 8 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
