Historically, private health expenditure per capita in Hungary reached an all time high of USD 370 in 2011 and an all time low of USD 25.3 in 1991. When compared to Hungary's main peers, private health expenditure per capita in Austria amounted to USD 1,299 , USD 255 in Czech Republic, USD 287 in Poland and USD 245 in Slovakia in 2017.
