Historically, the bank’s net interest margin reached an all time high of 2.57% in 3Q2022 and an all time low of 0.905% in 3Q2017. The average margin in the last six quarters amounted to 1.83%.
Average asset yield was 4.56% in 2Q2024, down from 5.31% when compared to the same period last year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 3.09% in 2Q2024, down from 3.66%.
When compared to bank's main peers, Ceska Sporitelna operated in the second quarter of 2024 with a net interest margin of 1.85% CSOB reached 1.56% and Komercni Banka some 1.56%.
