Historically, poultry meat production in Zimbabwe reached an all time high of 115 kt in 2019 and an all time low of 3.51 kt in 1961. When compared to Zimbabwe's main peers, poultry meat production in Botswana amounted to 4.02 kt, 139 kt in Mozambique, 1,922 kt in South Africa and 51.7 kt in Zambia in 2021.
