Historically, poultry meat production in South Korea reached an all time high of 1,050 kt in 2020 and an all time low of 15.8 kt in 1962. When compared to South Korea's main peers, poultry meat production in China amounted to 23,800 kt, 45.9 kt in Dem. People's Republic of Korea, 2,436 kt in Japan and 1,703 kt in Vietnam in 2021.
