Poultry meat production fell 17.8% to 3,714 kt in India in 2021, according to Faostat.
Historically, poultry meat production in India reached an all time high of 4,519 kt in 2020 and an all time low of 77.8 kt in 1961. When compared to India's main peers, poultry meat production in Bangladesh amounted to 277 kt, 23,800 kt in China, 1,814 kt in Pakistan and 231 kt in Sri Lanka in 2021.
