Historically, portfolio investments in Slovakia reached an all time high of USD 3,902 mil in 2Q2009 and an all time low of USD -4,378 mil in 3Q2006. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, portfolio investments in Austria amounted to USD 1,389 mil, USD 3,126 mil in Czechia, USD -18.1 mil in Hungary and USD 4,545 mil in Poland in 2Q2024.
Slovakia has been ranked 34th within the group of 96 countries we follow in terms of portfolio investments, 18 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
