Historically, pork meat consumption per capita in Lebanon reached an all time high of 4.76 kg in 1997 and an all time low of 0.480 kg in 1962. When compared to Lebanon's main peers, pork meat consumption per capita in Cyprus amounted to 37.7 kg, 1.43 kg in Israel, 0.010 kg in Jordan and 0.210 kg in Syria in 2021.
