Historically, population aged 0-14 years as a percentage of total population in Kosovo reached an all time high of 44.8% in 1963 and an all time low of 22.0% in 2021. When compared to Kosovo's main peers, population aged 0-14 years as a percentage of total population in Albania amounted to 16.3%, 16.1% in Macedonia, 18.2% in Montenegro and 14.3% in Serbia in 2021.
