Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of EUR 2,532 mil in 2013 and an all time low of EUR -6,617 mil in 2011. The average profit in the last five years amounted to EUR -1,679 mil.
On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of EUR 5,945 mil in 2013 and an all time low of EUR 575 mil in 2003. The average revenues in the last five years reached EUR 2,867 mil.
Comparing Piraeus Bank Group with its closest peers, National Bank of Greece generated a net profit of EUR -4,227 mil with revenues of EUR 2,089 mil in 2015, Alpha Bank Group netted EUR -1,372 mil (revenues of EUR 2,313 mil) and Eurobank Group announced a net profit of EUR -1,076 mil (revenues of EUR 1,762 mil).
