Piraeus Bank Group made a net profit of EUR -1,238 mil under revenues of EUR 605 mil in the fourth quarter of 2015, down 273% and up 8.23% respectively when compared to the same period last year.

Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of EUR 3,617 mil in 1Q2013 and an all time low of EUR -5,439 mil in 4Q2011. The average profit in the last six quarters amounted to EUR -625 mil.

On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of EUR 781 mil in 2Q2014 and an all time low of EUR -18.2 mil in 4Q2011. The average revenues in the last six quarters reached EUR 594 mil.

When compared to bank's main peers, National Bank of Greece generated a quarterly net profit of EUR -2,050 mil with revenues of EUR 524 mil in 4Q2015, Alpha Bank Group netted EUR -622 mil (revenues of EUR 636 mil) and Eurobank Group announced a net profit of EUR -175 mil (revenues of EUR 479 mil).
