PFNonwovens reached total sales of EUR 255 mil in 2019, up 0.795% when compared to the previous year. Historically, company's revenues amounted to a high of EUR 255 mil in 2019 and a low of EUR 67.4 mil in 2003 during the 2003 - 2019 period.
The company produced total of 110,966 tonnes of nonwovens textile in 2019, up 1.02% when compared to a year earlier. The figure is 61.1% higher than a decade ago implying an average annual growth in production of 4.89% in 2009 - 2019. The production figure means PFNonwovens used 140,300 tonnes of its production capacity in 2019. In the last five years, the average capacity utilization reached impressive 79.1%.
While company’s sales have been growing by 7.52% a year on average in the last decade, production measured in tonnes increased by 4.89% a year on average.
As a result, EBITDA per tonne of produced textile fell from EUR 563 in 2009 to EUR 427 per tonne seen in 2019. In terms of EBITDA margin, the ratio fell from fell from 31.4% in 2009 to 18.6% in 2019.
Having said that, PFNonwovens has been able to offset the margin pressure by volume growth and efficiency gains, so EBITDA in absolute terms has grown by an average 2.03% in the last decade.
