Petroleum consumption as a share of worldwide consumption rose 2.35% to 0.310% in Greece in 2015, according to EIA.

Historically, petroleum consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Greece reached an all time high of 0.535% in 2003 and an all time low of 0.303% in 2014. When compared to Greece's main peers, petroleum consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Albania amounted to 0.029%, 0.100% in Bulgaria, 0.020% in Macedonia and 0.928% in Turkey in 2015.

Greece has been ranked 43rd within the group of 172 countries we follow in terms of petroleum consumption as a share of worldwide consumption, 10 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
