Petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold fell 9.08% to 36.9% in Ireland in 2020, according to ACEA.
Historically, petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold in Ireland reached an all time high of 89.9% in 2000 and an all time low of 23.0% in 2012.
Ireland has been ranked 26th within the group of 29 countries we follow in terms of petrol-fuelled as a share of new cars sold, 6 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
